I think it was around 41-43F with wind chill down to about 25. I didn't find the colder temp a bother because I was dressed right, but up on stage it looked like the wind was whipping around more and those guys didn't have a big crowd around them to break down that wind.

yeah, the wind was really whipping across the stage. I though Mick was going to get blown over at a couple of occasions. Fortunatley for me and others on the floor, the wind wasn't so bad down there. I posted this in another review, but I could see my breath and when I took my gloves off my fingers were cold / hurt. That should tell you all you need to know about the weather that night.
Just look how they're dressed. Even that huge bear of a bass player is wrapped up in over coat and muffler. Anybody still overly concerned about Keith ? Jesus, you can almost SEE the cold in those shots .

Personally - yes. Someone smiling or not smiling in a photo isnt an indication either way as to the state of their health.

Ummmm....Keef's overall general health has been a concern since on or about the 1960's... He keeps on ROCKIN' though.... GOD BLESS KEEF!
I'm not saying you can see that Keith's OK from the pictures.. All I'm saying is that you can see how freakin cold it was and almost feel the wind chill...so it's hardly suprising if somebody doesn't look cpmpletely happy or on top form. Like I've said before..I don't do cold particulary well and I certainly couldn't a play a bloody guitar with freezing fingers in an arctic gale !

He looks like Short Round???
Spud: Yeah. I agree. It must've been the coldest gig ever. You can see that sort of frozen smile by Keith in the second to last picture. There's some more pics on Shidoobee. One of them shows that Charlie's hair is blowing around more than usual.
