Bridges? A bigger Bang, Forty Licks? Steels Wheels? which stage do you guys like teh best?

Voodoo Lounge stage.

I love to death this stage. I also like the lion stuff on Bridges. But I think by far this stage is the winner. So freaking massive and everything on it can grab your attention. It's really a great spectacle.

I agree. The ABB stage is the best yet. [I liked VL too..with the big fire spitting Cobra ]

VL stage is the father of all Stones (excl. No Security) since. All variations on the same theme. That's why I like that one the best: it's the original.

i know its not on your list.....but the best is still the 1975 lotus leaf stage...the one that the pedal could open and close..very cool..

My favorite stage is the one with nothing on it except the band.

I don't go for the massive props. They mean nothing to me. I'm there purely for the music, not the stage design.

Although I will admit the stage -- on the '89 tour, I think? --with the giant, inflatable Honky Tonk women was cool.

Indoor bigger bang stage is great, except that it takes up so much space that there are hardly any floor seats in the Arena!!

Stay at home to listen to the "music." The greatness of the Stones show and why they have been so successfull in concerts is because of their great music and great props and stage design. If you want purely the music listen its a cd player and bootlegs.

The most beautiful stage I ever saw was the 1975 TOTA stage in Madison Square Garden, New York. Steel drum dancers making serpentine runs around the arena and this gorgeous, enormous flaming pink/orange Lotus-like Flower glowing like an extra-terrestrial mutation...then the opening chords to Honky Tonk Woman and this amphidiploid opens slowly and Jagger is poised on the tip of one of the 'petals' as this bizarre fauna opens up to reveal the Stones inside...the floor pulsating in color. That was breathtaking. Never matched. Anywhere.

the A BIGGER BANG STAGE!!! its amazing! cool, sleek, massive, lights are great, screen, everything, not only best stage of stones, but best stage ever for a musical act

I vote for the Steel Wheels stage.

There has never been anything big and impressive as the SW stage, no doubt about that. I think it hasn't been beaten by any other stage of any other band since then. ABB and VL were great, too, didn't like the Licks stage very much.

I agree. That was a period when it was the music that was important. Not the spectacle and posing.

The SuperBowl Tongue stage was ultra-cool.

Vegas: Steel Wheels, loved that urban decay look. There's a factory (Frito-Lay)kinda near me that looks like this stage at night.
