Finally another wig-thread! Bill Graham watched Keith in the 70s doing his hairdo himself in the wardrobe. He used to put lemon-juice into his hair as a kind of conditioner. Nowadays there has to be a bit more and professional help... I wonder how much time it takes now to create a "Keiths". I am afraid the work of the hairstylist takes more time than the whole concert.
His hair became grey quite early. When his hairline began to move ca. end 70s, his hairdo became wilder and wilder. It's a fantastic construction he wears now!

It's a given that he paints his hair. Just look at all the B2B foto's, he is grey there.
So what if he dyes his hair... I do, too! I don't like my natural colour. Does it make us any less worth? Does it make him a failure in your eyes? Come on! How many black haired 63-yearolds are there out there (yes, I know he's not 63 untill Dec. 18th...) But I know for sure he doesn't wear a wig. Saw him take a swim in France. That was NOT a wig.

Definitely a wig (or at least "extensions"). His brain surgery killed off the little natural hair he had left. I know I'll get lambasted for this but I don't care. The truth's the truth.

Been said before, I'm sayin' it again: Hair that has started to a-greying can regain its original colour by itself.

Finally, his hairline did begin to climb up sometime in the mid, late 70s and he had to change style in 78-79. He never looked the same after Some girls. And then came the bandana, 1986, you can see it on Hail hail rock n roll. I think he's bald/very thin more or less now but the bandana keeps the hair on his head.
