I am wondering. It is low risk factor. If you do get caught, you lose what, $6-$10. And if you do get in with it, cool beans. Does anybody know if the disposable cameras set off the securities wands at all?
"She's got a mind of her own, yeah, and she use it mighty fine..."
i have brought a camera to virtually every show i have been to, been frisked and allowed to bring it in. i even got my video camera in to MSG last year. i was able to get my own personal version of the bluesy 19th Nervous breakdown (first verse, anyway).
when i saw them at Roseland i didnt bring one as i didnt want to jeapoardize my spot and i have been kicking myself ever since. They announces on line you could bring in disposables, so i ran to the store and bought one. Luckily i was 15 feet from ceterstage, so i got a few nice shots, but i could have easily gotten a real camera in and gotten some great pics.
...tip of the day: spray paint your van ''rolling stones video gear'' and just pull into the back,,, works everytime....... oh, always take a snap shot of the guard lettin' thru, tell em you'll put him in the offical mag........
If you watch 25 x 5 you get Mick telling a story about the amount of guns confiscated at the gates during their 1981 shows .... Very funny! Keith probably got to keep them all.
Was told in Horsens that a disposable camera is allowed on the concert ground if you kept it in your pocket and didn't try and cheat the guards. So I did. Got it in and all.
