Is it any good? I like the rumors era Fleetwood mac but he is my least favorite singer/songwriter in the band. I just wanted to know what others thought of the album before i committed to buying it or not.

I've always enjoied Lindsay's soft voice. The album is very good. Rating 5 out of 6 on the dice.

I'm looking forward to getting this album tonight and seeing him in concert at the Wiltern in November. I saw his solo show there in 1993 and it was great.

Just bought it, I'm very curious.
I heard some songs and it sounds very promising.

He should have never returned to Fleetwood Mac as his Out of the cradle album is much better than the stuff he did with the Mac on Say You Will (although still some great Buckingham songs on that one... but nowhere near Out of the Cradle).

So what's the title of the new CD?

I agree Out Of The Cradle is better than Say You Will, but I think he is better off alternating back and forth between solo and Fleetwood Mac because, 1) it takes him forever to make a solo album and 2) Out of the Cradle only sold about 10,000 copies and Say You Will several hundred thousand. If he wants his music to be heard by a large number of people (both the recording and live in concert) it has to be with Fleetwood Mac. Not fair, but that's the way it is.

Ofcourse, financially he's better off with Fleetwood Mac.

It's not just financial, I don't think he even cares about that part (if he went broke tomorrow he could still retire just on the royalties from Rumours), it's about getting the work in front of as many people as possible.

entire album sounds a touch too whimsical.
