Ebay fraud.

I was wondering if anyone out there in Stonesland were duped into paying for tickets through Ebay this year for the British gigs on the A.B.B. tour and did not receive them. Unfortunately, this is what happenned to me to the the tune of £250. I'd be interested in any feedback.(P.S. thanks for the correction).

Nevermind ning, Tod, he has dissociative identity disorder. He thinks he's Sigmund Freud. There's no need to bully him, just let him be.

Wasn't it Tod who said, "sometimes a cigar really is just a cigar".

I think that was actually Sigmund Freud.

Ebay has some buyer protection mechanisms, as does paypal. You should follow up quickly.

Yes, absolutely. I got burned on a Las Vegas concert from a guy who had an auction but sold them to me outside of it, never got the tix, and Paypal got me the money back. I think you have to wait 30 days. Ebay may be even quicker.

So far I have received all the concert I tickets purchased via ebay.

To put in a claim with paypal you must register your item not received complaint within 45days of sending payment.

Best to use a credit card when paying via paypal then you have the added protection of being able to go to your card company and ask them to chargeback up to 6 months after the sale.

Always make sure the seller has buyer protection up to £500 when purchasing expensive items.
There are a lot of sellers out there who dont.

Ebay protection I think only covers you up to £150 and then they take the 1st £15 of your refund in fees.

Thanks for the replies (well, most of them). I actually bought the Twickenham tickets from a seller on Ebay last December and, of course, Ticketmaster in all its wisdom, didn't release the tickets until July. Therefore, the 60 day cover offered by Ebay did not apply. May this be a lesson to all you Ebay purchasers out there.

That's the bloody disgrace!
I hope you have tried to find out who this person is, through e-bay...if his name and address was hidden.
I wlso bought Stones tickets on e-bay this summer, 2 tix for Glasgow. From a guy in Scotland. I bought them 80 days before the concert. But I did recieve them...you can count on Scotts.
