Ian Stewart of Pittenweem

I have heard of local farm etc but does anyone really know anything ofthe great man's background from Pittenweem Fife Scotland.
As a fellow Scot would love to know ?

If (like me) you don't have the "Stu" book,this is a fabulous site! Thanks.
I'd add, if you can find them, the first interview w/ Stu I ever read, by Lisa Robinson, published I believe in the January 1976 issue of CREEM. *(check Creem's online archive?)
also, "Rocket 88" (Atlantic lp, issued 1981) - Stu's revealing and well written liner notes, in part about his & Brian's roots/influences.Charlie did the terrific cover art.
