Monthy Pyton used did a Brtish Army bascic training skit about what to do if the enemy attacks you with a Banana.

Perhaps the Stones could introduce a little sketch comedy into this tour.

If we can only get 20 songs, a few laughs would be welcomed.

First - you take the banana

Then - you eat the banana, thus disarming him.

What if he has a pointed (poyn-ted) stick?

I've been watching these guys pretty closely since 1972 and that picture of Keith and Charlie with Ronnie is probably the strangest picture I have ever seen of them. Are Keith and Charlie dressing Ronnie down for not being professional? Sure would like to know what really happened. At least they are continuing to add to their folklore.

This is the most ap-pealing thread I've seen in a while. Now someone please stop me before I post on it again.

Perhaps the Stones really are retiring and they are 'setting up' a legend that the Stones were brought down by a 'Banana Incident.'

'Oh No it was'nt the aeroplanes or beauty, drink & drugs, it was Ronnie constantly stealing Mick's banana that destroyed the Stones.'

Just a suggestion...if the trouble was caused by Ronnie taking Maick's banana, perhaps they should buy bananas by the bunch. They might be able to achieve some economies of scale and this way each of the official band members can have one, maybe two each.
