How many songs are there that relate to the Rolling Stones? Here are a few to get you started
Keith Don't Go - Nils Lofgren Blame It On The Stones - Kris Kristofferson She's in Love With The Rolling Stones - The Telefones Godstar - Psyycic TV Ballad Of A Thin Man - Bob Dylan (Brian Jones) And Your Bird Can Sing - Beatles (Marianne Faithfull) New Speedway Boogie - Grateful Dead (Altamont)
Any more? (Not songs that mention Rolling Stones like Peter Sarstedt's Where Do You Go To My Lovely - 'Where You Keep Your Rolling Stones Records) etc.
yep. (i'm not telling this properly, but: one night during the LIB sessions some long discussion started between Mick and i think Jimmy; Keith kept playing his acoustic while they were at it. finally he interrupted them, saying: "look, i really want to get this part taped tonight, can we just do it?" his fingers were bleeding all over his guitar. they cut the track.)
Probably the weirdest thing of all, a song called: C'era un ragazzo che come me amava i Beatles e i Rolling Stones. O.k., you're not impressed, you guess it'sd in Italian. You're right, it is in Italian? But who sings it? A woman named Joan Baez...

Yep. Peter Sarstedt. Horrible song though. "You live in a fancy apartment on the boulevard St. Michel, where you keep your Rolling Stones records..... etc..."
Maybe also a point in the musician's name: Peter SARStedt. The Toronto gig? LOL.
I was thinking about that song by Blur too. Some line goes: "I lost my girlfriend to a Rolling Stone"...
