Hallo, can anybody help me to find out a Mick Jagger Song ? I heard it after the Paris show, outside the stadium there where everywhere Stones music, and I heard this song, it was Mick Jagger with somebody els (a man) and the refrain was "It´s so hard to live on your own " or "It´s so hard to be on your own ". Unfortunately I did´nt ask which song it was. It sounded like a newer release ! Please, if anybody has an idea ? I liked it a lot !

No it doesn't sound new, but it's wierd how good these new CD releases sounds. Anyway, if you combine these sentences...you'll get what "anna" described:
And it's haaaaaard - it's not easy, and it's haaaaaard - it's not easy, and it's pretty hard baby - it's not easy, It's not easy living on your own.
Also, "Its Not Easy" has an odd double-tracked vocal with Mick in one channel and Mick and Keith harmonizing in the other on "Its Not Easy" and "Its Not Easy Living On Your Own" which could account for why she thought it was a duet with another male vocalist.
Thank you guys, you really know something. It sounded for any reason new to me , and I thought its another male vocalist, maybe lenny kravitz. I dont know so much about all these things.

Dear Anne, no problem what so ever. If you have any other questions you just ask the gang on here and one of us can ALWAYS help you. If you were at the Paris show you must be a nice French woman/girl and since that's my adopted 2nd home it was even more of a pleasure than usual helping you. Ahhh - I should be there now - in Paris, sitting at Cafe du Marche with friends , having some wine or beer.... WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!?! ...I should be there, life is short.......
I heard somewhere that Aftermath was the first album where all the tracks were written by the Stones - is this true? Whatever though, I must say that it has always been one of my favourite albums and it doesn't have a single track on it that I don't like - it is surely a classic from the 60's.
Star, running the older ones through my head that probably is true cause they always had an odd blues or R 'n' B number or 2 on their earliest albums (even though I'm much more familiar with exact album song lists from SATANIC MAJESTY'S on, or, better yet, BEGGAR BANQUET on (when UK and US song content became the same)....
yes. and you might get a lot out of this excellent site: [www.timeisonourside.com] all the sections of it are really worthwhile; the database called Track Talk has lots of fascinating detail about each album.
