Vocal spot for Ronnie?

Let me ask here just a simple question:
Should our Ronnie get a vocal spot on stage?

In my opinion it could be bring a kind of fresh blood into the show.

Keep on rollin'

Yes.

Would like to hear it but it will never happen. Ronnie has never sang lead vocals on any Stones songs. Or at least songs that are on Stones albums. Breathe On Me would be great to hear Ronnie and Keith do live but it will never happen at a Stones show.

agree with HD - never in a million years. Charlie would get a lead vocal before Ronnie would if he could....

But just background singing, have him replace the backup singers.

My vote is...YES! Let Ronnie sing a rocker, I Can Feel The Fire for instance,
Mick can be in the choir.
Of course it might not happen, but if it don't, I'm not to blame for it.

What about Charlie?

I wouldn’t like it. Setlists are getting shorter and shorter. A Keith song or two is okay because he sings on the records, but Mick Jagger is the Stones singer after all.

Would love it if Keith and Ronnie shared a mic for backup vocals--
Huh shi-do-bee SHATTERED!

Yes - but only at a Faces gig!

He can't sing solo at a stones gig as far as I'm concerned. What would Mick do?

yes, seven days would be better than anything keith does, but only if you move all the backups off the stage.

I would simply love that. Ronnie isn't even a bad singer. It's raunchy, but good (Kind of a mix between Mick and Keith). It would be awesome, but if he was allowed to do it, he would probably have a song to sing on a new Stones album. I don't think they'd let him sing a Faces song. I would love to hear him and Keith do Far East Man though. Imagine the following:

Far East Man with Mick and Keith on backing vocals.
Connection and Happy sung by Keith with Mick on backing vocals.
Then follows Keith's spot.

In that order. Good idea.

It would be fun to hear a Charlie track too.

A great idea. It wouldn't have to steal a song from current setlists. Keith sings one, then he and Ronnie share a microphone for 'Act Together'. Would be nice timing for the New Barbs release.

next time Mick has laryngitis, instead of cancelling,
just rotate the vocalists!

Ronnie could do a couple,
Keith could do his usual, Slipping Away and BTMMR

Blondie,Bernard and Lisa could do a couple each,
with Chuck and Charlie doing their parts, as per the norm.

of course it wouldn't have to "steal" from the current setlist -
Ronnie does two, Keith does three, Mick does 18/19 and everybody gets just totally *banged!* :E

yes great idea but it just can't happen anymore.
Ronnie is completely f**cked - he can hardly play guitar let alone singing.
I think people are in a dream world thinking this.....
