No, other than it will be released by Ron Woods new label (wooden records?) Has anybody seen the beautiful booklet that came with the Ron Wood retrospective? (only 2 pages). It was priced 26 Euro's at my local record shop.

it figures that it would be the same show as the best quality, most complete soundboard that has been floating around for 3 decades. Probably won't be much of an upgrade, frankly.

We should e-mail Chuck about it....just like the "Sway"-request. Ronnie Would be pleased, I think.
...."not much of an upgrade really"....I suppose people would say the same about a release of Brussels 73...Bleedin' hell aren't people ever happy??...All we want is official versions of long bootlegged releases, when it gets done..people whine...Rant over..I'll be buying it and ditching the bootleg!

when you want somethin bad enough....ya never should give up...........so, ladies & gents...i must repeat: Maybee Ronald J.Wood's releasing of this Barbaric stuff will lead the way for those stubborn, vault-locking blokes called the Stones.............and Gazza, if u see this post.....please don't ruin my illusion with logic & facts (please let me have my delusion).....thanx

thank you Leeds82 - i am blissed! high freakin time the Barbarians had an official concert release, and i'll be thrilled to replace my bootleg version with this one. the fact that we stole it from 'em ages ago doesn't mean the artists should feel obliged to dig anything else out of their closets for us.
Isnt JJF from "Buried Alive/Largo 79" only as an audience source attached to the other soundboard tracks (for completeness sake) ? Heck, I Cant remember right off hand?
If so, the replacement of the aud JJF with a SBD version will be worth the price of replacing the boot for me!!
Maybe Ronnie will issue an entire series of New Barbs or even Faces/JBG/Birds concert releases but I am probably only dreaming!! In fact Im sure I am Dreaming!!;-)))
I paid lotsa money for the Buired Alive bootleg, together with 4 other Stones bootlegs, back in the 90s. And I was CHEATED, never recieved anything back...and I was so furious, that I decided to PRETEND that I got them....in other words I never traded them to me, or bought them again. So.....I don't have Buried Alive, even though I've got other stuff with New Barbarians. So I look forward to this one.

My understanding was that the Anthology was originally conceived to be on Wooden records, but is of course on EMI, (9/26 Virgin USA), so the budget was not big...One disappointment was the errors in the annotation and evident lack of new remastering from original tapes - or it sounds that way, & I don't recall a credit (except stuff from EMI's 2 Jeff Beck Group reissues)...Too Bad, as the song says
