"actually i heard the same thing, except that GOMPER is going to open the show . . ."

This post made me laugh harder than the 2008 review. Jaggyfresh, you are making yourself out to be a douche bag on this board. She Smiled Sweetly in the fast, up-tempo warhorse-ending section? wtf?

Hello Mr. JaggyFreshAndKeith,

Can you tell your friend who is with RS management that we want to open for the Stones and give the opening act a lift. No lie.

Sincerely,

The Suits of Hoodoo Music

Get ready to hear Shattered as an opener in some venues

This would be a good setlist if they also left out Satisfaction, for maybe Oh No Not You Again!

If they play anything close to this in Chicago I'll be ecstatic. If this IS legit I'm guessing "Loving Cup" would substitute for "Memory Motel" and be further in.

In any case, hope springs eternal.

If this is true, I'm glad to see some variation, but Keith's songs are a bit boring...how about Little T&A and Thru & Thru? Why not One Hit to open the show?! Too Tight? Hang Fire?? And if they're gonna pull out She Smiled Sweetly, why not pull out Almost Hear You Sigh????? I could then die a happy happy guy!

Of course, that will be a hard rocking version of Loving Cup :-)

Since when is Loving Cup a ballad?

My trouble w/this post is the fact that it's obviously bullshite, but yet it doesn't seem to try and pass itself off as humorous like the Europe 2008 thread did.

Shattered as the opener? I guess it's time for a pee break.

They could do the back up stuff from the main stage while the Boys are on the B-Stage they have been doing it for GOMC.

The only thing about this elusive phantom fantasy set list is that we wouldn't get the switch up with Keith's bit. I've already seen him play Happy and This place is empty. Now, I love both of these, but I would love to see him do BTMMR and Slipping Away. It's my first tour, so I want as much Keith as I can get! Oh, but what a wonderful fantasy land we would live in, if we listening to this proposed show.

I wonder if they will ever play Time Is On My Side and Time Waits For No One back to back just for an ironic laugh.

Bianca what do you think Lovin Cup is... a rocker, blues???

LC ain't a ballad in my book, either. Mid-tempo blues.

Well I WON'T laugh at you, unlike all the other discourteous cynics in the preceding posts. I must say I'd be amazed if the setlist that ends up getting played is "precisely" as you describe it, but I do think we're likely to see significant change from what they've played on all the legs of the ABB tour to date. So don't be disheartened by having a strip torn off you, because the likes of you and I may WELL have the last laugh indeed !!

Keep the faith .............. even though there's a possibility that it might have to be of the "blind" variety.

Sounds great and lets hope its true however there is a formula that has been used for decades now. The first 4-5 songs are rockers, then ballads or blues or a cover (Jagger catches his breath), introductions, 2 KR songs and then Mick rocks its out.
The formula is written in stone. haha. It never changes.

How about 'Winter', 'Slave', 'Til the Next Goodbye' & 'Dance Little Sister'? and then after that they can play 'Aftermath' at the bar across the street ...

This shows where we stand.A predicted set list with almost all the same songs they have already played in recent years, maybe six songs at the most that could reasonably be considered surprises, and people act as if it would be some crazy dream come true.

To me Loving Cup is more a gospel/rock tune. Not a ballad!

What happened to this setlist? I thought there was an insider source on this one.
