yeah iKnow everything about KR name is OPEN G and play 5 strings two fingers
alot but for me Taylor is the man with the VIBRATO and was the best musician the
stones ever had along with Nicky Hopkins and Bill Wyman.

Too tough too choose.
I like the new ones much; and the real old ones,
and the 70s... Monkey Man comes to mind...

What's wrong with the solo for Shattered. Mathjis pointed out a while back that he felt this was Ronnie's best solos and is difficult to play. This made me relisten to it and sort of study it when I play my guitar.

And the words Shattered & guitar solo do not go together!!!!

That song is about my least favorite of all the songs after the Taylor years..

I was seeing there were too many Taylor solos so I put some from Woody, as Too Tough.

Anyway, it's not a flashy thing, as sombody wrote about Don't Stop, but I've always loved the solo on Shatered. I remember when I was a kid, about nine or ten, and I used to like doing guitar-mimic with a tennis racket in my bedroom (air guitar wasn't developed back then, LOL), and I loved to "play" along with Still Life, and when the solo in Shattered came in I was the king of the rock'n'roll in that very moment...

Just because the solo in Shattered is short doesn't make crappy or weak, but if you don't like the song I respect your opinion.

I do think however that some people feel the longer or faster the solo is the better. I go more for feel and how it fits the song.

I agree with you Hound Dog.....imo the short lead from Shattered is great......i wish it wouldve gone on longer

The solo on BITCH is Keef. I used to think it was MT, but its not its Keef and w/o a doubt his most fluid studio solo.
