My brother was at this show, he said that it 'pissed all over' the licks show he saw their in 2003...! He loved it, thought they sounded great, especially after a few songs he said they were really tight and the band were all smiles, having a great time. He was in A2 row 13 so this is close. The stage really impressed him. He called me so i could listen to the intro/jjf, and also during slipping away. I had to work, i am a chauffeur so i drove past the stadium on my way back from heathrow, i parked up and listened to HTW, sympathy and IORR, then drove on, to avoid the traffic. There was a great atmosphere, with lots of people standing at the gates listening and people in their front gardens sitting around and having a few drinks. I would have loved to have been there but i had to work and i cant really afford tonight as well. I will be there tuesday, and also glasgow on friday so i'll get my dose of stones this week!

Glad to hear that they were on fire tonight, im sure tuesday will be great!

LONDON (Reuters) - The Rolling Stones got their world tour back on track on Sunday, with lead singer Mick Jagger showing no obvious signs of the laryngitis that forced the band to cancel two gigs last week in Spain.
Opening the concert at Twickenham stadium in London with "Jumpin' Jack Flash," 63-year-old Jagger strutted the stage with his trademark swagger.

He also made a jibe at construction delays that have dogged Wembley Stadium, where the concert was originally to have been held, telling an estimated crowd of 50,000 that it may be ready in time for young rockers the Arctic Monkeys' farewell tour.

The return to the stage will be a relief for the quartet.

The European leg of the tour was delayed for more than a month after guitarist Keith Richards underwent surgery in New Zealand for head injuries sustained falling out of a tree while on vacation.

The marathon "A Bigger Bang" tour kicked off last August, since when the Stones have played to about 4.5 million fans. The band is scheduled to play another gig at Twickenham before moving on to Glasgow in Scotland.
