car parking question at twickenham

As parking at or around Twickenham is very limited - Many of the roads are for resident permit holders only
I suppose roads are also closed afther the concert
Is it a good apportunity to park the car near Kingston (or richmond) and take the train

I prepaid for stadium parking in 2003 which turned out to be a field on the road in,but was pretty easy to get in and out of to the M25.
I'm not driving this time as the Cabbage Patch is calling !

fred ..we parked at richnond on the licks tour,it was ok till we went back after the show ..loads trying to use the tube at twicks...but at the back of the stadium theres a park that opens up for car parking for the concert...wished we had used the field behind the stadium loads of room.
