ideally The Cabbage Patch- purely cos i want to meet all you headcases
and i'll go with the flow.

But my choice would be Church St and
The Fox or The Eel Pie if The Patch is way too mobbed.
- hope to see you on Tuesady Odeon and at Cardiff.

hammersmith - Richmond........District Line 15-20 mins

walk or bus or BR to Twickers.
I'd certainly bus it back to Richmond, post gig, rather than queue for a train .

Catch a bus from hammersmith that goes to putney (probably down the fulham palace road and over putney bridge) and get on the mainline train at putney station (top of the high steet) and that will take you straight to twickenham.

another way to go, but this will take approx 30 mins longer,
depending on luck with connections.

Old Deer carpark (on the A316) opposite the Pools-On-The Park and Richmond Athletic Ground..(i.e old Crawdaddy site) is a good bet.
..won't be expensive.
You've also got the multi-storey next to Richmond railway station, but that should be your last option as its always been pricey.

Thanks not really worried about prices more worried about safety of car.

Drive to Richmond, get into the Richmond ONE WAY system, go round it and when you get yourself to the MINI ROUNDABOUT right in front of (a) the cinema and (b) the head of the bridge over the river - go STRAIGHT OVER it and take the PETERSHAM ROAD that runs along the river. Pursue it to the T-junction at the end (about a half mile), and at those lights/that junction turn right. You'll see a pub called the DYSART on your right (after about 100 yards), and after about another 75-100 yards where the road takes a VERY VERY sharp turn to the left - TAKE A RIGHT at that point into RIVER LANE. This is a little lane that runs right down to a boat slip on the Thames. Park in that. It's isolated, remote, quiet, there will be virtually NO other cars there, and you can then have a leisurely and highly scenic walk back into Richmond as you follow the towpath back to Richmond bridge (about three quarters of a mile) from where you've got that 30 minute walk to the stadium as I described previously.

Put it like this. Is it a good place to leave a car ?? Bloody right it is, because that's exactly where mine'll be !!

Otherwise, Richmond is nothing short of parking HELL. A lot of the residents' permit bays are enforced right up to 9:00 or 10:00 at night, and there's in fact not a lot of parking space to be had anyway. I lived there for 11 years, the parking situation actually was a major contributory factor in my decision to sell up and get the flock out of there .......... as the shepherd said to the sheep !! You'll drive yourself f***ing nuts looking for a place, especially what with the place heaving on the night of the show. I know lots of sneakly little places to park (like bits of single yellow line here and there), but they're all hidden away in the maze of residential streets on the back slopes of Richmond Hill. I'm not going to suggest you go up there, you'll all too easily get lost and/or waste a lot of time. Just head for RIVER LANE, you won't be disappointed and you'll thank me - once you realise how close it is to Richmond Bridge.

I didn't park there last night and probably won't on Tuesday because everyone in my group is having a drink or three, but I used River Lane during the Licks tour and more recently when the Eagles were at Twickers.

Yeah, Beast and I were getting trampled to near death by the highly exuberant Nordic Vikings led by Mickijaggeroo himself ............. we all thought the "Stoned" put on one of their finest yet.
