Thanks a bunch Gazza. I downloaded the necessary stuff and got to listen to the program while I worked at my computer. It made the work a whole lot easier - great show!

Also looks like they will have more shows coming up when the Stones get to England.

It's great but isn't it really the same as the interview in The Times???

the other way 'round basically - the Times piece was an advanced copy and paste of the BBC interviews

I guess it's all a matter of opinion...........but does anyone else feel that their interviews lately have all been so rehearsed...so "canned" that they are even more predictable than the set list even??????????..........I liked the Guardian article on Keith since it wasn't really about asking him any questions...........it painted a great mood even though a slightly creepy picture is revealed in the "control" aspect behind the band.

...? no, i don't get that sense from well-done interviews.
if the interviewers are asking them the same questions all the time,
and/or if a major interview gets quoted/rehashed all over the place,
of course it starts to seem "predictable" just like certain phrases
that imagination-free writers use ad nauseum,
and just like the gripes about everything the Stones do. :E

cool! a fun listen that was. jagger is real cut-up, and keith sounded much clearer than he has in years, i mean you could easily understand what he was saying. that version of btmmr was stellar as well. naysayers will disagree but this sounds like a band that 1)thoroughly enjoying being in a band together and 2)seem to be in for the long haul, of course they are astoundingly rich, so that doesn't hurt either!
