Baboon,
That first half was the best part of the show indeed!! My God, Oh SOL grows as a live song, absolutely amazing.
The second part was very standard, but a very high standard. See my review on the tourpages.

I will. Now.

Re: Zurich

that's what amazes me - when SOL was released lots of people disliked it, now it's being pplayed live and people call it 'highlight' of the show. I wouldn't say it's highlight, but indeed it's much stronger than album version. Everybody seems to be surprised, but hey - don't forget who are you listening to smiling smiley

Re: Zurich

I think it all comes from Mick. He sing this song with so much heart and soul. The way he does it remind me That's How Strong My Love Is from the Licks Tour. Maybe it's not a great song, but obviously it's a great Mick.

Ronnie remains a great guitarist despite the fact that some people on this site want to "kill" him!

I read the reviews. But I don't like the comments about the crowd. You can never hear the singing and.. of people on a field like in a stadium,I was in front of the opposite tier, that means I was far away from the stage. People danced even there. And the people on the tier did not want to leave. Even made a "wave" half an hour after the concert... so..sometimes we (swiss) are a little bit reserved but.. than.. ..

We left 1.30 because we attended the cover band concert on the area. Stagediving.. etc.. Party!!. real cool thing to stay, better than to leave after a concert.

The stage looked far better in this field than in a stadium (thats why we stayed far away. To see the whole stage. After 6 Fos concerts)

Agree. That's exactly what i said after seeing Milan gig. SOL live is a DIFFERENT song. I think the job of the guitars make the song difference. Much -much better live.

Well obviously you guys have'nt seen Rain Fall down live, i think it takes the cake on sol, ther's no comparison, sol is weak.

It was really great, one of the best I saw. And they finally played "Wild Horses", a song I'm waiting for so long...
