...and they really should check out the Continental Club , even if they don't play. It's right up there with the Crawdaddy and the Checkerboard...

Sure time they played Norrland too; size of an American state,
66% of Swedens's total area. Some twenty Netherlands could be fit in here.

i am looking forward to the Austin show. ZILKER PARK ! That is so cool. I wonder what that stage set up will be like. It will probably be a smaller stage set up. They will finally play in the "live music capital of the world "

Austin, yes! The musical capital of the US, and the capital of Texas. I'm going! Lots of nice clubs, bars, great people. The best in the US, well apart from New York!

How big is that venue? Is it surrounded by tall chain-link fence? Is there any real seating or grass only? How is security? I think I'm gonna get "tuned-up" and "crash" this show. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

Mick is probably avoiding Texas, aka George Dubya's adopted home state. Hell so am I.

wow, people REALLY do think that Texas is just full of a bunch of cows running around and cowboys riding ranges and spitting chewing tobacco. i've noticed that a lot of bands really don't like playing in Texas. i need to move. the Chili Peppers didn't even schedule one show in Texas. we have a bad rep with musicians and i wish i knew why. Texas is not as conservative as people think.

Well, I remember talkin' to a guy from Arizona who thought that West Berlin was an island in the the red sea.
that was when the iron curtain was still up, so it might have looked that way on the map, but its quite a long way to the sea.....hehe.

So, what else do you have in Texas?
still drillin' for oil, I'd guess

Sorry, no Swedish shows on this tour. And if they'll ever come back, it'll be Stockholm or Gothenburg. Norrland / Sundsvall can hardly provide the sufficient number of hotel rooms, logistics etc. So, it's 66 % of the country's ground, but how many % of the population actually live there? How's the employment rate?
