Am I alone in thinking that this album should be featured at the Twickenham shows?

I don't like this album so much and they doesn't too.

But as you listen to it , you will find it has its eccentricities but it a fine LP

still think its the one Stones album LEAST likely to work at any concert and especially a stadium, though!

I didn't think about it at first....it's quite absurd, it must be a joke.
That would be just as crazy as getting My Girl and Walking Thru The Sleepy City as an encore.

She's a Rainbow or 2000 light years would be great to hear.

Citadel is my fav. track from the album.

I don't know about Gazza , but I love "Under The Boardwalk ' and " My Girl " .. Love to see a Lp of Motown releases By the Stones

I love the Drifters' Boardwalk and the Tempts' My Girl - but not the Stones' versions....

Yeah, I gotta agree with this comment. It has some great songs on it. Besides the 2 they've done live - SAR and 2TLYFH - there's still CITADEL, 2000 MAN, LANTERN, and SING THIS SONG ALL TOGETHER which kinda reminds me of CAN YOU HEAR THE MUSIC from Goat's Head Soup in a strange way.I kinda consider WE LOVE YOU, DANDELION, and CHILD OF THE MOON as part of TSMR. Those ain't bad either.....

It should be featured somewhere. I always wanted to hear Sing This Song All Together as an opener. It would be nice if they followed with Citadel and In Another Land. Then, after the B-Stage songs, they close the show with:

In my humble opinion that would be Emotional Rescue's title track.
The short version of STST aint too bad.

Speaking as a long-time Satanic Majesties champion (& bore) I would obviously like to hear the entire album played at Twickenham & if there's only a couple of hundred diehards left by 'On With The Show' then that's fine by me.

Realistically speaking though, since 2000 Light Years sounded so good & looked so good in '89/'90 I see no reason why they couldn't create decent live models of Citadel or 2000 Man which wouldn't alienate 60,000 people.

Personally, I would love to hear 2000 LYFH as I did not see the Urban Jungle tour (VL was my first tour)! Citadel too. I know my Dad would be thrilled to hear 2000 Man, it is one he really appreciates. I love it as well. Oh, and She´s a rainbow. Great song.

Anything involving the word Satan should be worth performing. Comic Christmas really kicks ass... and I've always considered the snoring part as one of music's finest moments. Seriously, I guess not everybody's smart enough to appreciate the sheer brilliance of Majesties sonic violence. It's art dude.... it's ART
