I don't listen to it much, but when I do I f-in love it. Why don't the boys pull this one out for the bstage?? It would work soooo well and get the crowd going, even if it's not 100% known to everyone it has much energy and that great "Stones" sound to it. Here's a good bstage list..
-Rough Justice (to bstage)
-Crazy Mama
-Get Off Of My Cloud
-Start Me Up or Street Fighting Man

It worked well on the Bridges To Babylon tour.It hasn't been played in Europe other than at two of the Amsterdam 1998 shows so,maybe they should consider it for the current leg of the tour but,I don't see it happening.I am waiting for Dance Little Sister,Too Tight, and Around and Around on the b-stage,to name a few.

Too Tight would be amazing. I think that would take a miracle though. For some reason Mick thought it was a good idea to play 'Love Train' last tour but he won't touch Too Tight or most of ABB. What gives?

I'll sign that petition! Let's have "Crazy Mama"! I can even take "Hey Negrita". Like the reggae-feeling to it.

As long as they don't do "Fool To Cry"... Black and Blue is truely an underrated album! I've played it a lot recently. Love it!

Like so many records it accompanies memories of a great summer when so much younger.

I thought "Fool to Cry" worked pretty well live in '76...

let's face it - the b-stage has been permanently raped by warhorses, never to return to its rightful glory as the most exciting part of the show.

....the sunset blvd. 'black and blue' billboard that they had to remove due to complaints was classic,,, ahhh, have that one terr???

Love Train is my least favorite cover the Stones have ever done. That is a true Mick and backing musicians song. Keith and Ronnie should have just put their guitars down for that one since they barely played or could be heard on it when I saw them.

Love Train had more guitar work than several other Licks covers - and more than the current cover (Night Time)...it was very good, IMO.

I agree with StonesTod.

Not a big fan of all the covers they do but at least with Night Time Keith plays some nice licks and does a solo. I think of Love Train and see Ronnie standing there clapping with the backing singers.

Another thing at the time for me was Love Train was played so much on this stupid car commercial at the time that the song itself became very annoying to me. Rather hear them do something like Imagination or Stop Breakin Down if they play a cover.

It was also on a Coors Light commercial only a few months ago.
