Baboon i recall a long thread about this particular album a few good weeks back and not being a big fan of bruce i chose to ignore it, until i happaned to catch some of the sessions on tv and recorded it whilst i was watching some boxing on another channel and when i played it back the next day i thought this aint bad.

Wolfmother! Fantastic Australian trio. Power-rock, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream-style - great! Check them out. Also I´m playing Cream´s first album; Fresh Cream.

Ok. This goes beyond "This very second", but here's my plans for the day.

I've opted for a Floyd morning. It struck me last night that it's what I needed!

I'm gonna follow that up with some Warren Zevon. I'm especially looking forward to "Excitable Boy" and "Poor Poor Pitiful Me".

From there, Van Halen, The Mamas and the Papas, and finally The Black Crowes Shake Your Money Maker.

Naturally, I'll work some Stones in here and there.

Comfortably Numb - Takes me back about 20 years or so, parked at the beach, volume at it's peak, getting baked out of our minds.

Out of The Cardle - Lindsey Buckingham.

Just purchased this one, and once again... a very stunning album by this incredible underrated man. Sounds a bit like Tango In The Night part 2.

Just heard "Take off your clothes" by Peter Sarstedt, a good text as I havent played for 30 years, on this day when the sun is shining and thousands of people are spending their summer hollydays down by the sea in my home town.

Too Much Blood. Is there an xylophone in there? Could be a synthesizer tho. I like that sound.

Excitable Boy - Warren Zevon

Any fans of Warren's out there that could provide any history on that song (assuming there is anything noteworthy). Musically, it's such a "jolly" little tune, but lyrically, quite disturbing.
