.....okay now the dog is gone, her owner came and got her, so I'm hearing the guy with the New York accent belittling and interrupting a young female coworker for some mistake he thinks she made. He is raising his voice. She can't even explain herself without being interrupted. Jeeeez this guy is a prick. Damn thin walls. I just slammed my foot against the wall and said "oops" real loud. I think he got the message. No more sounds.....ahhh much better.

Haha, nicely handled, Luke. If he starts again, think about ordering 40 pizza's for him.

Tom Petty, New York Dolls.

(actually met Johnny, Nolan and Sylvain backstage -84. They were touring Sweden...Syl, such a gentle man. signed my friends t-shirt, did draw a picture and they were all happy (except Johnny - acting cool) to see us, really)

Anyway...

I think they were touring Denmark at the same time - but I was to dumb to know (same with Grateful Dead around the same time - I'm still kicking myself) - hey this is almost turning into a tribute to the NYD and Ol' Thunders ;-)

...listening to "I'd rather be with the boys" - again with Mr Thunders ;-)

Howard Stern

they're talking about great guitarists--Artie just said "what about Mick Jones from The Clash and The Stones?" Does he really think Mick Jones and M. Taylor are the same guy?

The other day Artie was talking about how Jagger and Richards didn't give "Mick Jones" credit for Can't You Hear Me Knockin'. I'm surprised a caller hasn't corrected him yet.

One of Howard's fave Stones albums is Satanic Majesties--he loves 2,000 Light Years From Home.

Well - don't know - I'm not too interested in Kim Larsen after 1978 (did you see him opening for the Stones in '82? Ouch!);-) Having said that I've heard that he's going back to a more basic approach in the last few years - ie no synthezisers) I love Gasolin and I love Kim Larsen "Værsgo" but as for the rest I'm not really an expert - sorry about that ;-) (Is the bootleg "Det var en lørdag aften"? That should be really good though)

Ohh...and listening to the Primal Scream - "Nitty Gritty"
