Everything will depend on Zidane. I'm afraid the Portuguese know that as well and their determination not to let him play his game will know no bounds. The refs role in this will be vital.

lots of trying to con the ref....diving, shirt pulling, kicking and intimidating the ref to get the opposition players sent off.

The French may resort to these unsporting tactics too.

Lets hope for a France/Italy Final.

Hugo Borst(dutch journalist) predicted the Portuguese would probably mow down about 7 french players, but they would still win the match, proceed to the finals, and Italy would win 9-1 because of the lack of good players, which were all taken out by the Portguese.

The Portuguese for sure will attack Zidane in the beginning of the match. The dutch team tought them how you can take out the best player in just one major faul.

A lot depends on the referee. If the French keep playing like the last couple of times and Zidane avoids getting a penalty, they will win by a narrow margin. If they have to play overtime, everything is possible - and Portugal may win.

Henri will score twice. Portugal will deservedly go out & Ronaldo will get his come-uppance.

After our beloved "Klinsmen" failed, I instantly hope that France will get the cup in the end. Could be a nice end for Zidane, one of the greatest players ever.

While I'm enjoying Zidane's playing (after all I'm a Real Madrid supporter), I have to say that despite the fact France did beat both Spain and Brazil (which are mainly offensive-playing teams and the ones who in fact let Zidane play), Portugal is going to be hard to beat today, because it's a mainly-deffensive team like the own France and on the other hand I guess Zidane is going to receive some hard tackles today...

I would like the country placed between both of them to be playing semifinals, I must admit, LOL!

My prediction: As I said yesterday, I'd like again both of them losing...

France played increible good against Brazil. If they continue to play like that tonight, I can`t see how Portugal gonna stop France. Well you never know in fooball. I see France as the big favourite of the 3 last teams.

My fear is the portuguese hitting hard and doing their best to injure the french players.

If the game is fair, I think and hope France will win, if they play it unfair, everything is possible.

I think France will win, unless it goes to penalties.

France's weak spot is their Goalkeeper. he could easily make a stupid mistake and gift Portugal a gaol.

I think at least one Portuguese player will be sent off.

Know nothing about this crazy game. Will look at it by chauvinism and not to be an idiot tomorrow morning. I hope for Zidane and Henry, they win . But in any case I think Italy would be the champion whether against France or Portugal. La squazza azuria played awefully well yesterday night.
