I Think that nobody is by self "The Rolling stones", then , if Charlie goes awya like bill wymam did in past ,he coud be replaced by....Ginger baker...? or Mick avory who was the first drumer of the Stones in the beginning. The beatles left behind pete best for Ringo ans nothing bad hapened, if Keith don t go on tour with the Stones ,there are many lead guitar men, like jimmy page, jeff beck, santana, or brian may....or is not time for the Mick Taylor s returns , even Mick could be replaced by .....Bono????or Steve Winwood? or... Robin Williams....?

You can be sorry all you want but, those versions sound and are counterfeit. They also sound like a prelude to the weak '89 sound (although not the guitarists fault) and as mentioned by the retired dog feature piss poor drumming.
Every boot I get,I always listen to each track once at the very least except for the ones from 1988.To be honest with you,I have an extremely hard time listening to even three tracks in a row.
Richards playing these days is far from pedestrian,he just seems to have trouble remembering what to play all of the time.(This is natural for someone his age especially when considering what he has done in the past.)Most of the time he remembers and when he does these songs sound great, much better than the '88 versions. Wood is up and down, show to show, leg of tour to leg of tour, usually only on certain numbers.

I'm not sorry at all for my opinion.
I know it's not the Stones. It hasn't got the loose, spontaneous and dynamic
sound of the 69 tour for example, but Jagger's 88 tour powered along by Ripp &
Satriani are musically superior to anything the Stones have done live over the last 25 years.
And their playing is boring live now, listen to Still Life thru to Live Licks
and try and stay awake.
Put on the Jagger 88 boot 'One Night Stand" and hear
Start Me Up & Honky Tonk Woman & co played with an intensity that is just not
there these days. Visually the Stones live still excites, but audibly they are
boring and are only harming rather than adding to their mighty musical legacy.
And that hurts to say that because they have dominated my musical tastes since
I 'discovered' them 20 years ago. At their peak they were and still remain the
greatest group there ever was.
And I am not saying replace Keef. I just prefer Keef when he was at his peak
not what he plays live now. As for Ronnie, well let's just say it's time for
me to listen to one of my live Stones boots that has a certain M. Taylor on
guitar.

Someone needs to listen to German Girls and should have been at some of the Stones shows early this tour or certain ones since then which were musically superior to the '88 Jagger shows.
