Stones public info politics sucks...

Hi folks,

after hearing that the 12 postponed gigs, which we all thought would take place next year, seemed to be cancelled, I did not want to believe at first.
I got my 19th nervous breakdown...Not because of the bad news....but because of the unbelieveable, unexcuseable, unforgiveable treat from the Stones camp to their fans...I mean, I did not expect that things could get worse after the castration of the european tour down to 21 gigs.

Instaed of starting to create a kind of positive vibration 2 weeks before Milan kick off, they make it even worse.
I expected something like:
" Well, sorry fans, but enough of the bad news..now we are back, here are the new dates, we are pleased to perform as follows...",

they have the nerv, after 4 weeks of silence, to start the bad news again...
by cancelling show after show.
I mean, friends are asking me if the Stones are/have finished...and my answer is..."Well, maybe..."

After all this mess...after all this no info at all politics...how can they come up with another "pissing on the fans again" treatment.
As our fellow "Gazza" did say before, " This tour is a bad treat to the fans from the very first day:remember Pressconferenz with the " we will have stadiums , arenas and club gigs"...so fans did get a fan club membership to buy the club gig ticket..which never takes place...than they almost ignored their new album on stage which dissapointed me totaly cause there is no reason to hide the new songs....instead we had a licks 2 tour...as good as it was...then they had a short "HIGH phase" while playing in southamerica and far east...although I was disapointed that they used a kind of primitive stage design, instead of using the large US stage....But Rio, BA, and so on were great Stones moments...but after the Keith accident the Stones did almost evrything wrong what could be done wrong...one wrong decision after the other...I don`t want to repeat all that shit again..you guys out there know what I am talking about...
But as a hardcore fan I have to take it...or leave it...but how can I leave it, if I am a hardcore Stones freak.

BUT...after hearing that the inofficialy promissed gigs
won`t take place at all....I realy lost my feeling of looking forward to the mini summer european tour...I mean I just have left 2 gigs...the one in my hometown Cologne..and the new Paris date...but at the moment I don`t care, if I see them again or not...never ever thought that I could think like this for a second.....I mean, Its the Stones man...or should I say: it WAS the Stones, man...
I am pissed..and I blame the Stones for being pissed.

and I am not sure that I can go to business as usual when the tour will start..I don`t know...something has broken in me...

salar, my soul brother,

it all seems to be falling apart. I know (by a very good source: myself)
that
this is the last European Tour this summer. They have totally lost it
as you have written. And finally I know, that all my (negative) remarks
and threads turn out to be true (at least for me). I was attacked as selfish etc. But I know I was right, and still am.

I´m not talking about
the ticket prices that they were charging (+ 100%), forget the setlist standard shit, peanuts!

1) I´m talking about that stupid behaviour that led to all this mess.
I was attacking my most favourite musician of this planet (which was
hard but necessary). Done. I felt better.

2) I´m talking about the policy you have mentioned: saying nothing,
keep the fans waiting and gossiping.

3) I´m talking about the lousy "ouch" statement of Keith. I still
feel sorry for him that he did not realize that his cool days are
over when sentences like that were his trademark. Haha, a real Keith!
Sorry, but not this time, Keith! That was the point were he could
have won back some territory - but he missed.

4) I´m talking about the postponed shows (postponed means "taking
place at another time", right?) for 2007. I was pessimistic from the start. But OK,
now the cat is out of the back. SOLD OUT SHOWS are gone. Forever. A slap
in the face of hundreds of thousands of fans. Remember my "European
fanbase" thread. It turns out to be true - they are about to losing it.

5) IF they are gonna tour the US (while only making a 21 cities tour of
Europe) they are done here, and I don´t want them to come here again.

Except they are thinking some things over, and are doing some heartfelt, personal action.
What if giving 2 or 3 free ARENA shows for the cheated
fans out there? I don´t mean the usual rock concert goer (who will never
buy a ticket from them again), I mean the fans on this and the other boards
and the FanClubDesperates. That would make a lot better.

TooTough (fan since 1982, 38 shows, very sad about all this shit)

Right and agreed....what more to say....we will see what will happen the next weeks..

till then my focus is on the world cup...just 24 hours from kick off vs. Argentina....hope they donT have to cry for us after the match...ah,ha-ha.
Im ernst..I am extremly nervous...we deserve to reach the semifinals...but the gauchos deserve it, too...so what to do....our " Mannschaft" has to go out and blow the argentiniens out of the stadium with another kickstart...

This is my view:

Ger vs. Arg. to close to call...but I hope for a 2:1 victory after extra time.

Port vs. Engl. 2:1 ( England is the biggest dissapointment for me..they play like Zombies..without live, without soul, without passion..without anything.

Italy vs. Ukraine 2:0...an easy going for the azzuri

France vs. Brasil....to close to call IMO
