...and was marked for life. Oslo rocked. Two shows. My dad only let me see the first show, as I was 7, and the second show was way past bedtime. It's been 41 wonderfull years, Stones-wise. This calls for a celebration. I think Vodka, lime and cranberryjuice. It's called "Let It Bleed". Cheers, everyone!

30 years ago I heard them for the first time...from outside the stadium(dh 76)24 years ago I saw them for the first time in a real heatwave!!!82 Rotterdam.

What show was it?

The first one in Oslo, at Sjølyst Messehall. The sound was terrible. The show lasted for like 30 minutes and The Stones have gotten so much BETTER over the years!

But you saw mr Jones!!!Lucky you!!

Yes, you saw Brian Jones. I suppose you have a vague memory of him. Anyway, happy birthday for this great moment to you. Many more to come....

A vague memory? Not at all! A very vivid one. I'm not ashamed to say that it was his golden lovely hair that first made me listen to The Stones - after seeing a pic in a newspaper when I was 6... I found him incredibly cute - you know - the kindergarden-way. He looked young and fresh, and the drugs hadn't destroyed his looks yet. However, at the show in Oslo, he had these great, pointed shoes. And I was so proud my (then) 27-year old daddy had even more pointed shoes... Easy to please a 7 year old!

Hey Richards! That guy, Arve, who's being carried out on a stretcher from the first Rolling Stones show in Oslo ever - he's a friend of mine. See him all the time on shows, markets, record-stores, Stones-quizes, release parties. And he's a true fan. Really a nice guy. BTW - I spotted my dad in one of the pictures. I've never seen them before. As a seven year old - I certainly didn't read many newspapers. I bought "The Last Time" and "Satisfaction", though. Still have them... See you on tour!

Kikkuh means that you really get a kick out of it.

~Zekah wetah!!! means "know for shure"

Both words you can not find in any dictionary because in our home town we got a special dialect and we find it funny to write words as we pronounce them.

Normaly you write "Zekah wetah" as "zeker weten"

But which language do you normally use, Nicos? Dutch? Jiddisch?

Didn't find your expressions in any of my dictionaries. (English, American, Scandinavian, French, German - and then I thought - why can't they express themselves in a language more people can handle...) Just a thought!
