I have never get the same feeling of Start Me Up than hearing it from the radio for the first time in the early 80'ies. So hardhitting... lots of good liveversions done afterwards, but nothing like the Tattoo You starter.

Many people have already said it here and I agree, the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour as the show opener is the most widely heard best version. However I agree with jjflash88 the Baltimore show this past Feb. had a HOT version from the B-stage, where this song belongs.

WRONG - it's way too fast! loses all the tension that the Tattoo You/'81/'82 tours have . . .

I've heard versions from '89/'90 that really rules. Also the Superbowl one was fantastic.

Start me up ROCKS in the b-stage. They should have started putting it there a long time ago. Better late the never.
