Forty Licks Fanclub is organizing one of the biggest Stones fans gatherings ever: the FLF Bigger Bash. The programme contains art exhibitions, parties and music:

Tim Ries will play his Rolling Stones Project at the newly built Amsterdam Bimhuis on 29 July. The gig starts ar 21.00 hrs. On stage he will be joined by Bernard Fowler , Mike Davis and Kent Smith. Darryl Jones might be there too(tbc)

If not sold out this will be the case. But it's expected to be sold out.

Look at the line up: it's almost the whole backup band playing! Anything could happen that night. If you are a stones fan and you're in the city because of the next day, you should not miss this!

My wife and I went to Bergen last weekend as we couldn't get refunds on the airfare / hotel and had a great time...going back just for the day for the September 1st gig, got gold Circle for that one. No hotel room to be had in Bergen at all !!

Missing Paris as we had already arranged to go to Amsterdam on the 28th July, so I've extended our stay there for the 31st gig (had to send back my Pelour ticket for Stade de France, which grieved me no end). Got tickets for the Bigger Bash at the Paradiso on the 30th July in the post today & have reserved tickets at the Bow-House the night before (they cannot be paid for in advance....you pick them up & pay on the night before 8.30 or they get released to whoever is in line).

Should be one hell of a few days !! When we get back from Amsteerdam we then have Twickenham (x2), Cardiff and back to Bergen !

Hoping for Paris 2 to be re-scheduled for next year sometime (and Wembley ????).

Bought tickets for the entire convention at Paradiso and Bimhuis. What a weekend this is gonna be! See you all there.

Chris Jagger starts at 20.30. So you should be able to see his act!
And the bigger bash band starts at 10.30 until midnight!

Remember, it's in Paradiso in the middle of Amsterdam. The stones hit this joint in 1995 and recorded "Stripped" partly there. You can call this place the rocktemple of Amsterdam.

Would love to see there infamy! It's always a pleasure to be among stonesfriends!

I'm looking forward to see Tim Ries playing. For me the fact that Darryl Jones is polaying as well makes it very special! I love his bass playing!

I don't even have to smoke a joint to get stoned from saturday till mondayevening. (Ofcourse I'm standing FOS in the Arena)

Paradiso is very near the Leidseplein in the center of the city.

across the street are lots of restaurants, bars and coffeeshop where you can buy marihuana etc.
