Got an e-mail as well. Did you order tickets through RS.com the first time? I ordered twice the first time. Once (for a friend) through RS.com. The second time with Amex.

I am based in London and booked throught ticketnet.fr and received the e-mail this morning as well. I understand it to mean that ticket holders from EITHER of the original dates can rebook for the new date of 28th July on a first come first served basis using the link they provide. (I only had tickets for the 2nd July date and so why send me the e-mail if I couldn't rebook?) The second new date is yet to be announced of course......and could be next year, if at all....who knows??!!

Information on the SDF-website has also changed since yesterday:

***The two Rolling Stones concerts due on June 3rd and July 2nd 2006 are postponed to a later date.

A concert has been rescheduled here at the Stade de France on July 28th 2006.
From June 7th 2006 to June 25th 2006, ticket holders for the June 3rd or July 2nd concerts will be able to change their tickets into new tickets for the July 28th 2006 concert.

Conditions apply : new tickets will be same category, until stock lasts. Tickets holders have to ask their original ticket deal for making the change.
Ticket holder who are not available for the July 28th 2006 concert will be refunded.***

This last sentence is different from the Ticketnet information: they said on the telephone: positivly NO exchange: all tickets will be refunded and new tickets will be made available by email for people who have ordered tickets earlier.

Slightly different, but could be important, because this COULD imply that when you have sent your tickets back for refunding, and because of that you are no longer a current ticketholder, you will not receive a code or a mail. But I suppose, and hope, that the Ticketnet-story is more accurate, while the SDF-story is just retelling in other words, causing some room for different interpretations. Maybe I've sent my tickets back too early, but I suppose that I will be fine.

Hope you all will be!

I´ve buy first 1 and then 5..... I hope this will be not a problem....

Other question, they chargue it on the credit card... so, I need send back my old ticket... and when they receive, they send me back the money of the ticket of 03 June????

Yes, Kaskatanas,

They treat this as two different processes as far as I have understood. You can buy new ticks, they will be charged to your cc.
Seperated from this, you can send them your old tickets, they will be refunded.

The e-mail doesn't say how they will repay you. How?

I didn't receive the e-mail at first, so I called them and they sent it right away.
2 pelouse or tickets, yeah!

I went to the Belgian post office and sent my two tickets for 2 July back via registered mail.

When I got home, the ticketnet e-mail was waiting. Went on line and bought 2 pelouse or tickets without any problem.

Now, why couldn't they have said 5-6 days ago that they were going to do it this way, and stop all the anxiety?

Thank god that I have them and will be there!

Is there anybody who already received an email, but did NOT buy his first tickets using a RS.com membership? In other words: did they only mail RS.com members, or also people who used for example American Express, or any other way to buy ticks at ticketnet?

They only mailed those who bought their tickets through them. I bought tix for the June show through AMEX (France Billet) and still waiting for info. I also bought tix for the July show through Ticketnet and thanks to that I got the famous e-mail.

Yes, the email is as famous as an email ever could wish for to become.
Maybe, some day, they will be talking about this famous email, and the famous palmtree. I imagine Rockmans grandson posting a picture of Keith, being 113 (and still touring), sitting under this palmtree reading the e-mail...

In the mean time my chances are also turning in the right direction. Things are in progress at my friends place...

Not really true. I did buy tickets through ticketnet.fr but didn't receive any e-mail. If it wasn't for me calling them in a panic, with my handset in one hand and a smoke in the other, I would probably be ticketless now.

I purchased my tickets for the cancelled shows by both ways : a) for the 3rd June by RS.com b) for the 2nd July via Ticketnet. My tickets were thus all yellow. I phoned Ticketnet. For the 2nd July, they booked instantly my tickets for the new show. For the tickets via RS.com, they told I should receive an email within the next days with a direct link to book for the new show. Anyway, refund of past shows and booking for the new one are 2 distinct operations. And
great to see Keith and Charlie in Paris.
