Season finale of Sopranos just started on HBO and Moonlight Mile plaayed during the first few scenes...which included the disposition of the head of a dead mobster and the explosion of a mob hang out.

I just watched a rerun of Entourage which ends with Gimme Shelter... and now Sopranos is starting with Moonlight Mile... HBO has a hard-on for the Stones... give me more!!!!

The finale of the 2nd seaon opened and closed with Thru And Thru. Which was a very nice touch, I must say.

Agreed. Very classy touch by the producers of the show with great impact.

I believe Little Steven (the guy from Springsteen's band who acts on the show) has a lot to do with choosing the music...yes?

Plus HBO has $$$$.

do you know how much it costs to use even part of a stones song in a tv show or movie, let along the whole thing? Well.... neitether do I but you can bet your sweet ass its a lot.

one of the greatest songs the stones ever did,thank you Mick Taylor for helping out Mr. Jagger and playing that classic looping climatic outro solo that ends the masterpiece.In a way it was probably best that keith was MIA,it gave taylor a chance to put his stamp on the song.

Is the final Sopranos season number 5 or 6?

6 is the "unofficial final season".......however 8 "bonus" episodes were added after the fact and they get aired on HBO starting in January 2007, making season 7 the absolute end to the series.

So there will be 7.5 seasons...

Looks like they couldn't bring the story to an end within the amount of episodes of season 7.
They shot a few sequences in Paris recently. Too bad I know about it after they left...

During Satisfaction thers a shot of a really big dude wearing a bandana dancing with his girflriend but I dont think thats Gandalfinini. maybe it is, i have to look again.
