TWO SHOWS FEASIBLE IN PARIS IN THE SAME WEEK?!

Paris shows: “The two original Paris shows are merged into the one and only new show as listed” on July 28th 2006. What does it mean? Which are the valid tickets? The ones of the first show originally scheduled? Or the ones of the second show originally scheduled?

But the main question is:
Why wouldn’t there be TWO shows in Paris? Before the July 28th Paris concert, there are four days without any concert. The previous concert newly rescheduled before Paris is Koln on July 23rd! It means that the 2nd show in Paris can be scheduled either on July 25th or July 26th.
When the stage is set for one concert, it is already set for TWO concerts.
Besides, the Stade de France is unoccupied from July 22nd.

As a result, the 2 concerts of the Rolling Stones are feasible in Paris in the very week of July 28th.

The fact is : many people have book also their holidays - So expect quite a few cancellations - That is why they have to merge, I think.

I do not believe that 80000 fans would cancel their concert tickets to go on holiday! It is not so easy to get tickets. If there is only one show in Paris instead of two, I do not think that everybody will be able to see the Stones on July 28th.
It is a shame if there is only one show instead of two, because the Stade de France will be unoccupied during the previous days and the Stones will not be in concert elsewhere at the same time!

They need to rest X amount of days after every so many concerts.

The crew are entitled to time off every few wks it is agreed with the unions.

Remember they are working their butts off before during and after each show not just when the stones are on stage.

No. This tour is just to play a minimum of shows. Once the delay is a fact. They don't waste time on multiple shows when they can play another city, with one exception. The greatest city in Europe for Stones fans. Their home town.

Yes, Bjornulf, but, the four previous days before the Paris show of July the 28th, the Stones play nowhere! Besides, the Stade of France is quite unoccupied during this period of time! Nobody can understand, here, in Paris.
At the moment, we are all very disappointed.
