Rubbish (and I don't sell ice cream in a shopping mall either).

FFS, Keith is Keith. He is a rock star. If you blame him for being that you are not very cool OK? Sorry but that's the case. If they quit or if he dies you can keep your tickets and sell them on E-bay in 15 years and get rich so please quit nagging. Dont mean to offend anyone but this starts to get a bit pathetic although the tickets were expensive.

I fully second that, LA FORUM.

just to state it clear

i love the man and i hope he gets well very soon to enjoy many more shows with him

BUT

if you have to blame someone for what happened the only one you have to definitely blame is KEITH.

You all seem to forget that there's a little thing called responsibility (don't forget his family and children).

i mean nobody put a gun at his head and told him to climb that tree, fall down and hit his head.

he did it all by himself fully aware that this might be risky.

so the only one to blame for all this shit is a person called KEITH RICHARDS.

Re: don't blame Keith

In that case, he should never leave his front door or get out bed. Even that is risky, since - like a lot of people - he has also managed to injure himself in his own home in the past. I don't remember anyone calling his responsibility into question when that happened. And his responsibility to his family and children is nobody's business but his own.

We are at the airport right now on our way to...
guess what? Barcelona! I blame him for not seeing them.
I blame him for climbing, for nothing else.

Who gives a shite about who's fault it is that the European tour has been delayed. Keith's Da Man. What can I say? What pisses me of is the fact that the rumoured US leg of the tour in September might be postponed or even worse cancelled. You just don't cancel gigs in US which happens to be the largest market for the Stones, i.e Stonesland.MEZ

and Ay ay baby it hurts

it seems to be a matter of temperament. i don't get what the point is in blaming anybody for an accident -
it doesn't remedy anything or help anybody or forestall anything; it doesn't make the world a finer place,
and it doesn't look like there's much joy in it either. but apparently it grooves some people, so ... [shrug]

Keith, be well - all the way, baby, all the way

- how selfish of us Europeans.

Very very selfish and an awefull opinion.

Even if you had your share of the cake you still want more and don't care about other people.

this is keith being keith

We can all thank mick jagger for keeping the band together in the 70's and 80's and making all the financial decisions when keith was strung out on heroin.keith
has a way to make the stones camp walk on eggs.

Shame on you. With such an egotistical statement, I hope you never get to see the Stones again.

LA forum just wrote the best post of today!!!You are so right!!

Shame I got on here so late, came back late from selling Hot Dogs at the shopping mall (used to sell Ice Cream but they moved me up to a higher position - now I also deal with mustard and ketchup)

WOW, now I know how all these bullshit preachers become millionaires !! Look, since money doesn't seem important to a few of you send it my way. MicksBrain will be happy to take it in. Let me put up a post box number and address and just start telling me now how much you plan to send.

Now check this out, if you're not "thick as a brick" you'll get this. There is a thing called "Living Life" i.e. doing things you HAVE to do every day - shower, shave, eat, walk, drive, etc etc. Then there are things called BEING RECKLESS i.e. doing things you don't need to do - hang gliding, bungie jumping, getting into fights, boxing, driving drunk, driving stoned, playing Russian Roulette, Climbing trees when you're an old man, Riding a motor cycle like a crazy assh0le without a helmet - get the picture? Keith was acting like a dumb drunk kid. What if he'd fallen and gotten paralysed? Let's think of a few accidents that were true, horrible accidents - Curtis Mayfield having a stage light bar fall on him and put him in a wheel chair, lead singer of the Yardbirds, Keith Reif - is it- getting electricuted while playing, things like that are pure accidents. Climbing trees is pure drucken foolishness. Do the ones that don't get it get it now or should I put out a coloring book version? If it wasn't for Mick's responsible attitude the Stones would have ended in 1977 with Keiths little arrest in Canada. Someone earlier said Mick has keep this band together, no shit, I TOTALLY agree. So how much money you gonna send MicksBrain?? tell me tell me tell me..I wanna put in a swimming pool by summer......

Rooster, can I put you down for $1,000.00 ? I wanna put in a little waterfall in the corner. You know, one like Hef has at the Playboy Mansion. You'll be welcome ANYTIME - should have a few hot LA babes hanging around....topless even !!

Rockman, yeah, I know the whole story. I don't remember any shows being canceled plus Mick pushed on a small plate glass window and it broke - ACCIDENT, not foolish drunk STUPID BEHAVIOUR. ROCKMAN, I like you and you're a bright guy, why you getting mixed up in this? You know the difference.....
