rs.com....3 hours later than every other news source, when it comes to vital news about the band they represent

no change there, then...shame on them.

RS.com and Stones.inc aren't as black as they're painted in this story.

I'm not saying their response has been ideal but...

1, They obviously have to advise the promoters and organisers before any public announcement is made... so that the machinery to deal with ticket returns etc is in place.
It's then bound to get leaked by somebody, somewhere !

2, If Keith had fallen out of tree and badly broken his arm [or any central band member had tripped on a kerb and badly broken anything !], there'd have been no extended uncertainty. Six weeks in plaster, a few more weeks physio/recovery... tour delayed till August ! End of.

The nature of Keith's injury was such that nobody could put any dates on anything until now. There wasn't much else they could do.
They couldn't make announcements based on speculation, hopes and guesses.

thanks Spud - that sounds about right to me too.
another point is that the different individual promoters have been reacting in different individual ways -
some blithely continuing with sales, others announcing postponements/cancellations ahead of Stones Inc -
it's not like all their actions have been dictated by the band.
maybe that's at least partly because of a lack of clear timely central direction,
but still, it's not like all the mixed signals and confusion have been a deliberate coordinated plot or something.

>> If Keith had fallen out of tree and badly broken his arm <<

have you ever seen a guitarist fall out of a tree? i have!
it's breathtaking how they instinctively protect their arms and hands.

Keith, be well - all the way, baby, all the way

That is exactly right Spud. I believe they will play. Otherwise this is all a lie and to what end? Not to mention R.S.com lets out what they are told to let out. Good post.

They've only put it in the Press Release section. Not in the News and in the Tickets section not a word - in fact you can still buy tickets for all shows as far as that shows. It's a joke.

In the e-mail from RS.Com, informing me of the 15 postponements, there is not one word of apology.

They are a disgrace.

The email ??.

You got Mail from them....

Still waiting for me poster.

They promised it before the first date of the europian tour.

Now it looks like I may have to wait another month for it.

That is the real reason for the postponment of concerts.

They do not want to break their word , He He.

One of my membership accounts got it a few hours ago (the Hotmail address), but the other five are still waiting!

If it's "Breathtaking" why are you still breathing? What a great comment....Hey, have you ever seen a sound technician stand next to a 747 JET engine when it starts up? I HAVE....It's spellbinding how they instictively protect their ears by sticking their fingers in them while screaming from the pain, just spellbinding...

i especially like the last sentence from they're, every so late statement:-

'The tour will now kick off at the beginning of July at a venue and city to be announced.'

..Nurnburg?- i wouldn't count on it.
