It was an Accident no one is to blame.

Why does everyone always have to blame someone for things that happen ??.

Always got to be someones fault but never the person pointing the finger OH NO they are perfect.

I knew when I purchased the tickets and my flights always a chance something will happen whether it is Keith hurting himself ( he could just have easily slipped coming out of the shower ) or Micks throat.

Thats life shit happens sometimes.

Would be booring if you just sat and planned everything down to the second that you are going to do for the next 20/60 yrs and it all ran like clockwork.

Where is the fun in that.

MADMAXX, it was a CARELESS ACCIDENT vs. a SHIT HAPPENS ACCIDENT (like slipping in the bathtub or whatever). You don't have kids, right? Just checking....

Well, you can't expect Keith Richards to live like the artist known as "Prince".

So there's good posts and bad posts? The world according to... If you are not with us...

You just cannot blame people because they take another point of view on the same situation, on the same information. That is what happens when people are not the same.

You cannot expect Keith to sit on his ass whole day, and sparkle on stage at the night. Just like lying in bed makes you tired, just like actvity keeps you active.

Excuse me, I am not angry. But I feel sorry for the loss of money, and for people like me and others who cannot make it to the replaced dates.... But I will follow Madmaxx: glad that nobody is perfect.

MicksBrain

No I dont have kids My choice.

Usually when something happens to dissapoint me I can usually see that I brought it on myself.

I purchased the tickets and the flights no one forced me.
I choose to take a holiday based round the Stones Concert Schedule No one twisted my arm to do it.

If I am honest it is the only way I can get my OH to take time off work for a Holiday.
He will work 7 days a week 12/14hrs a day when the work is there.
Always an excuse not to plan to go anywhere as too busy.

I know if the Stones tour I can buy tickets, flights, book hotels stick it all in front of him and he will make the time to come away.

This year he is in the middle of a Contract & I know we only have 10 days off together in the summer.

If no concert we still have each other & a Holiday to look forward to.
I intend to make the best of my precious time & will not be blaming Keef and wandering about with a long face.

Just curious; how many concerts in the past have been canceled or postponed because Mick was sick?

Most of people here don't read this post from yesterday :

[iorr.org]

Keith have a stroke, days or weeks before going to Fiji Islands.
This stroke, it happens often, was without pain for KR when it happened, so nobody knew the disease.
After, there is the "coconut story". In Fiji, KR had headaches and went to hospital.
And at this moment, with the exams, doctors found the clot in the brain.

So, the coconut fall saved the life of Keith, in a way...

Think about it now...

The first concerts of 98 at least. He had a soar throat.

sorry but madmaxx is right. no one ever expects an accident to happen - careless or otherwise. strangely enough, that's why they're called accidents.

It would not be a very interesting board if only people who agree with you would post here, or is that what you are after?

This reaction is exactly what I mean: the fact that I judge different, is reason for you to call it poor?

That is not very rich either, is it? Give people some room to express what they think, also if that is different.

Sluissie,

Where in the statement "poor judgemnet" does it keep you from expressing your opinion?

Are you not denying me mine? With that attack?

By the way thanks for reminding me, there have been soooo many happy fans on this and other boards regarding this whole thing.

In fact you have changed my mind. What a great pr move by the band. I'm sure they wish they thought of it years ago

I don´t have to tell you that those were postponed shows due to an illness.
I´d never blame him for that.

The stroke story is new to me, if true, I´d never ever blame Keith. I said
this in threads 2 weeks ago: id the resaon to postpone a tour is a disease -
it´s nature. No one ever would blame anyone.

But for the second time Keith is the reason to postpone a whole tour, this
time with a more than stupid behaviour (the tree story is confirmed).

Btw: If it was a stroke - it´s finally over.

Yea, but not falling out of them. Hey Keef, how's about paying for my visa with all the coconuts you've sold.
