its an outtake. no official stones release has the version with him on vocals. its available on a few boots and the russian version of let it bleed.

It's on the Beggar's Brekafast alongside other brilliant outtakes!! :-)

I like the Dirty Work stuff, some of which is far superior to much of the released album.

However, NOTHING tops the Toronto '77 material

one thing that always amazes me about that Keith LV demo of Gimmie Shelter is that i cannot stop dancing to it.
i love the official version very very dearly, but it's not (for me, anyway) a dancing type of number.
how Keith did that - making the track even more chilling and menacing than the released version, but it makes you dance -
