saw them on sunday night, at The Astoria,London, dude.

they rocked - but Carl without Pete, is like Mick without Keith, like bread without butter, like cheese without pickle... it' NOT quite as good as it should be.
The Racconteurs debut album, is the one thats doing it for me, at the mo...
bloody fantastic, in my humble opinion.

These aren't just the ol' band from the sixties that hadn't bothered to bathe the past few decades, i take it?

My mate has just seen them in Cambridge. He had VIP tickets and had a good chat witrh Gary the drummer after the show. He has photos which I'm going to put on the net soon.

T&A, you're right. They're not the same band.

Looks like the Libertines without Pete really. But the CD sounds good, and Pete really just continues to destroy his credibility.

Carl is a good songwriter in his own right and the new cd is very good.

The D.P.T's will always be overshadowed by the ghost of The Libs, but after the heartbreak of seeing his best pal destroying himself and the band, he's picked himself up and admirably decided to carry on.
