the judical system in the UK have locked him up, remanded him in custody and released him on, what seems like a weekly basis, every week, for the last year or so....
it's only a question of time before he kills himself ,or more worryingly

His current band is called Babyshambles. They've released one album, titled Down In Albion. If you were already a fan, you'd like it, though in truth it's just average. Indeed. There are a few real standouts on they're second album. I also really like Music When The Lights Go Out and What Katie Did.

I thought the same until I put myself in the position of the cameraman. I think I would have had to beat the sh*t out of him just as a precaution in case he had any disease. Then if he was clean I can laugh at both the incident and pummeling him for no reason.

i may be out of touch w/ the younger crowd, but i don't think very many people in the states know who this guy is. only reason i know about him is from a few recent trips to the uk.

They don't. The Libertines toured the States a few times though. A couple of times with Doherty and once without. Besides, it was Carl Barat (the other Libertines frontman) who was put out as the main man over there.

Yeah, I've had a flick through that book a couple of times. It has some great pictures taken outside the Tap 'N Tin after the Pete Doherty "Freedom" gig there. I've been drinking in that pub for years and I still kick myself that I missed it!

Yep and I've also missed Carl Barat down there a couple of times and Tim Burgess too. Every time I'm down there it's always some shite local band who spend longer tuning they're guitars than actually performing!

Carl and Tim have performed together, sparodically and unannounced, in their own little 'supergroup', called The Chavs..
i suspect, this is what you unfortunately, missed.
