I don't watch tv nearly at all but I noticed that there wasn't any commercials for Stones'concert and that worried me a bit.Suddenly today I saw the first one and this must be the on of the very first days that this commercial is aired. So how can the rescheldue Greece which is 25 of June and on the same time air the commercial??
There's NO WAY they can replace Keith and call it the Rolling Stones. Half the stadium would riot. The only thing they could do that would be acceptable IMO is bring in a 3rd guitarist to augment Keith in case he needs to take it a bit easy. If it's the difference between the shows not happening and going on I think they might consider it.... No Keith (in some form), No Shows...
Thank god.By the way I am watching the hampton 81 dvd that my friend kaskatanas sent to me and I think how cool Stones were back then.I love them now too but I don't thing I will see Ronnie hanging from anywhere

They already do that, with Blondie. Even though his role is limited to accoustic, I still think it's an unnecessary element to the live shows. Heaven forbid they put an electric in his hands, that would surely cause a riot.

Blondie plays electric on Jumping Jack Flash. On the Licks tour he played electric on Before They Make Me Run and a few other numbers. I haven't heard or seen any riots though.

Thats very sad to hear. I was completely unaware of this, I wish you had never told me.
Whatever the case, it would be a nightmare if he was given Keiths slot in the band. As Manhatten said, that would be great cause for a riot.

I am not as optimistic as you. Mid-June is early, too much early. Allow him a break of at least 1 1/2 month from now. I would bet on Paris I as an opening date, i.e. June, 30st.
point is... if they start the european leg too late, they might as well cancel the rest of their European tour as well... how could they start at the end of June and reschedule 1/3 of their dates.. does not make much sense to me....
