LK, our new band has our second practice tonight with our first gig tomorrow night. And, no, they don't let me anywhere near a mic. We do a great, punky, 1978ish "Just My Imagination". Other Stones are SMU and Dead Flowers. A pretty good "Fool For Your Stockings" by ZZ Top, too. Best of all, everybody is easy to get along with (except me).

Great idea! I wear my parking lot $10 bigger bang XXlarge tee to bed every night, i will break out the real shirts for the weekend...

Our bass guy has a studio and usually tapes us. I'll try to get you a boot. There good coasters if nothing else!

Yeah, CindyC...it was great. The best part it was no charge!!
One of my friends was working camera for the telecast, so I hopped a plane and he sneaked me in !!

I think Pearl Jam opened, if I remember right. After PJ played a lot of people left...so I got pretty close by the time Keith came out.

Lucky!!! That's a GREAT story.

It was Pearl Jam who opened. I remember at the time, a lot of people were calling it the Pearl Jam show, which of course pissed me off to no end.

Well, I never heard it referred to as the Pearl Jam show...and anyone who left missed the headliner. Keith was the one playing at midnight...and of course, he graciously invited Eddie Vedder (and others...possibly even Robert Cray) to join him onstage for a great encore.

It was definitely a Keith show, but PJ was so big back then, and a lot of people went just to see them.

My PJ shirt is a way-to-big parking lot Stones shirt, and I'll wear my regular one this weekend. Until then, I'll "wear" positive thoughts for Keith in my head!

I probably will wear my Voodoo t-shirt... since 1995 I wear this t-shirt always in my first show of the tour...

Today I have my Simpsons "RS Rock & Roll Fantasy camp" t-shirt, with Homer Simpson, Mick and Keith (and a big guitar) on it. I love that shirt. :-)
