yeah good news! also cuz all those news about opening acts make me think that no delays or cancellation are coming! I don't think they would had done this (guns'n'roses too!...) if keith wasn't able to tour for sure! don't ya think...
Who cares ? I do, because I have a FOS ticket and you have to be there early to get good spot. So if the support act is a real bummer your forced to listen, can't give up the good spot, can ya?
Unless the pitch is seated (all UK shows), a good opening act is important. You're in FOS- you're pumped up- the atmosphere is great- Kasabian are awesome live, they'll get the crowd going nuts.
The Kaisers and The Charlie's are great openers, as well.
I usually have FOS too, but I always arrive pretty late (7:00 PM) Sometimes, I even arrive after the opening act FOS are great tickets, no matter when you arrive
well i have fos too for milan and sure i'll be in early since in the afternoon there's italy vs czech rep and i hope they will show that match on the big screen. then I'll be glad to hear some good music. It would have make a difference to me if it were Beck, or Sleater Kinney or Stephen Malkmus or many others. Kaiser Chief and Kasabian are average and tolerable. The Charlatans have really something to do with the stones and made some history back in the late eighties. No matter how much they "rock" Guns and Crue suck. That's my o of course.
This is great news! I'm a big fan of the charlatans, Just saw them last night at brixton, great gig, the best show from them i've ever seen, setlist was perfect. I cant wait...!!
I used to like Charlatans but even though I play reggae my self I don't know what to say about Charlatans going reggae?? Not a single person will remember Kasabian & Kaiser Chiefs in a couple of years.
More Motley, more GNR, more @#$%& rock n roll!!!!!!!!!!!
Major dissapointment - The Charlatans at Twickenham 2 - after the pile of crap that Tim Burgess was at the MEN arena, this is just about my worst nightmare.

Ah, but this is different! I have no idea what a Tim Burgess solo show is like, but I'm excited about the prospect of seing The Charlatans open for them. Just think, The Only One I Know, Then, Can't Get Out Of Bed, Just Lookin' and North Country Boy. If you don't know these songs, go and buy a CD called Melting Pot. It's the perfect introduction to one of Manchesters forgotten great bands.

Having listened to samples of these tracks on I Tunes,I am now even more depressed - not my cup of tea at all - I'd have preffered The Corrs - wipes the floor with this sorry shambles.
