Another "I'm drunk" thread? Yeah, I like my beer -- I'm sipping Heineken right now. OK, this diabetic has no business in indulging, but please don't preach to me, friends.

I'm enjoying some "good day sunshine" here in WV, and I have the house to myself at the moment.

One of my mates got home from the pub. Fell asleep. Woke up for a pee. Gets up, opens airing cupboard door. pees, goes back to sleep. Next morning the family thinks the hot water tank has a leak. Well something had a leak. My mate.

i'm getting too old for these hi jinks.

you know the latest craze in Ireland is that they're putting pubs in old folks' homes - these people are getting family visitors now they didn't even know they had. ingenuity at its best.

Ardbeg 17.

room temp. with a drop of water.

(the 25 is too smooth, not enough kick, and the 12 is just like Bowmore or Laphroaig)

but when i can't get Ardbeg 17, i do find that the Lagavulin 16 is a close second.

of course, i'm a smokey-peaty fanatic. as you may have already guessed.

must visit those distilleries on Islay someday.

Is that a fancy way to say you are drinking water? Stella Artois. MMMM. Hits the spot after a long day toiling at the spa. Man, it was rough.
