Good drinking night for me. I had half a bottle of Moet & Chandon, yum!

Also, I went to Mick's favorite restaurant in Boston tonight, Via Matta. I heard he goes there quite a bit while he's here, I have to say though, I wasn't super impressed. Mick, next time you're in Boston, I know some better places, I'll take you out.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Used to be bacardi & coke until my health kick stepped in and now its bacardi or any white rum with fresh orange and just a tip of diet lemonade plus a few bottles of cava or dry white wine.

Lucky for me the sister in law is a air stewardess and gets plenty of duty free at good prices.

I pretty much limit myself to alcohol, no extract or colonge yet!

Four pints of London Pride does me fine. No hangovers anymore. Can't stand them.

Ice cold beer is tasteless, and light beer is for sissies. So ice cold light beer is for tasteless sissies ;-)

Elmo,
In college a buddy in my dorm made a last minute dash to the store to get beer (which in those days meant driving to the next town and buying before 1:00AM)...he was gone unusually long and our anticipation waned. Finally he showed up with a bag full of lemon and vanilla extract. He was too late to buy beer so he cleaned out the store of all it's extract. "You dumbass...you spent all our beer money on extract." Even I wouldn't touch the stuff.

I love car bombs, can't wait to crack open a Guinness when I get out of work.

Anyone tried Magic Hat? Great beer with cool psychedelic labels. My friend used to go to school in Vermont right next to the brewery and we would go there all the time to load up.

Lukester,
that story remainds of some people from Finland I saw some years ago. Then, you couldn't buy beer at food-stores, only non-alcohoilic-beer. (You can buy ordinary beer now.) Anyway, the label says Lett-OL, "OL" is beer. "Lett" means "light", and is written much smaller.
Anyway, these cool Finnish men stood outside the food-store with about 24x5 bottles of beer. And they drank, and talked loud and sang. They thought this day would be a real party.
I didn't want to spoil their fun, and tell them they're drinking water.

Erik, So they thought they were getting drunk, but they really weren't?.....and you didn't stop them?....oh man, that's funny.

The worst thing I've ever tasted was a 80% Spanish Rum. It was pink. If you touched the top of the bottle (under the cork), and put your finger in your mouth, your mouth hurted like somebody was messing around with a knife in there. Stupid as I was I took a shot later that night (5 years ago). I never been that sick ever, before or after. Stay away from pink 80% rum!!

On the piss all night in Copenhagen. At breakfast (no sleep) a Dane said try Gammel Dansk, it's good for the stomach. So when in Rome etc I downed a shot.
Jesus Christ! Not a good idea.

Nico, 80% is too much for sure. But it's a bit odd, because 50% or 60% is no problem.
I've actually got 99% from the pharmasy too, but I leave those ampulls in my drawer.
