I have booked a hotel room right on La Rambla so I hope to get into party mood already the day before the show. Then I will be bothered by 1000 beggars on rambla on show day while having beers with friends. Then I will walk over to the venue 2-3 times during the day, listen to the rehearsals of Saint Of Me and Streets Of Love and may be Memory Motel. Then I will queue up around 6pm to listen to a warmup that is probably totally boring. Before that for sure a great Bacalao meal. Then two hours of a great show with Mick saying it is great to be back in Europe and the Spanish crowd is the best. Then party more on La Rambla. More Bacalao and beer. Barcelona should be great!

b) the privilege of being at the opening concert, at least for those very first unique 30 seconds of pleasure : Keith's riffs on JJF or SMU,Charlie's drumming and Mick's energizing a whole Stadium, and then facing the reality that this is the Last Time of a Stones European Tour as everything seems crumbling apart.

Lutefisk only around Christmas time when the fish is right for it in December of course. A typical Lutefisk meal cost 50 dollars and up in Norway in December so it is not an everyday meal. No I prefer bacalao all year in Spain and Portugal. With salted dried cod (klippfisk) from Norway of course.

And yes every show every tour have got the same excitement building up. The band flying in. The fans gathering. Rehearsals. Soundchecks. Meeting friends. Looking forward to a long and great summer with many great shows in Europe. And I think it's gonna be a long hot summer....

then spending the whole night at the Ramblas....before flying back to Cologne on sunday noon.

I'm heading for Barcelona Friday afternoon/early evening with my daughter and wife. Plus a spare ticket...so if anyone need a cheap fos-ticket - and don't mind queueing with me ? First time for me in Spain, so expectations are high regarding the wild non-drunken crowd And for the live premiere of SOL of course
