well, the 99 gig at the shepherd's bush empire went on sale the day before the show and wasn't the location not released either until that day?

i wrote to the guy and asked him if he had the tickets and wristbands now (because obviously that wristband is from the licks tour and i would think that maybe the press would get the wristband without having to put it on immediately).

he wrote this back:

the wristband on the item listing. I can't show the ticket because of
certain legal implications, if you see what I mean. All will become

and as for Shepherds Bush - no comparison. It was still common knowledge there would be a show of some sort anyway, the only secret was where the show would be and whereand when the ticket drop would be (it still leaked out if you were astute enough)

Can you imagine the reaction if the Stones DID announce a club show after all for this tour and DIDNT put tickets on sale to their fan club members.

the seller just got negative feedback from a guy who just "won" madonna tickets in london (2 auctions). the buyer wrote that the seller admitted he didn't have tickets! he gives refunds except for ebay fees!

I heard a lot of these BS stories too. A while ago I spoke to some fool who insisted that "he knew all about it" and that the Stones were to "perform in the Cavern club just to piss off a certain bassplayer". He had "connections" through which he obtained tickets. It's pretty embarassing to see how full of sh*t some people are.
