online identities

hello,
i was just curious as to what you guys base your online forum identities around and why? do you see yourselves as using the internet to recreate yourselves or free yourselves from the real world in any way?

I'm like Keith Richards on this one. He once said that the clothes he wears onstage are the clothes he wears off stage, he is always Keith Richards.

The CindyC you know here, is the CindyC my friends know too.

I hope that's the same for everyone on here. I don't want to be conversing with phantoms.

no similarities between StonesTod and RealTod. StonesTod knows more about rock'n'roll than anyone else T&A knows. StonesTod also plays the baddest-assed guitar T&A's ever heard.

Hey, Rob, I'd like to read your diss.
It was a while back when I did one too, so I know what it'd be like.
I'm may look at something similar to yours one day.

Did you go through an irb and are you quoting people?
(feel free to write to me)

maxx is not my real name.

It is part of an ID I have been using for years also part of my email.

My behaviour on the net is like my real life or I hope it is anyway.

Dont see the point to pretend you are something you are not.

if you're a real loser in real life, I would see the point....

Maybe that could be part of the questions for the "poster reference" page.

Are you a loser?
Do you have any friends?
When's the last time you had sex (with another person)?

...you had to add the "other person" qualifier? couldn't we make that part "undercover"?

No, the other person part is mandatory, otherwise, we'd end up with people like the guy in Silence for the Lambs.

"I'd f*ck me".

I just figured out that I only know a view (+/-10) posters on IORR (with know I mean I have an image, know where the live) I follow there post, react, but there are more out here that I still don't know, altough they hang out here for a while.

Do you have the same (problem) ?

well, maybe I'll just keep "silent" myself on that subject....

Re: online identities

Yeah, i have the same problem Nicos.

You'll be conversing, and it's embarrasing to keep having to asking, what part of the world do you live? How old are you? Because these posts do tend to be conversational.

Re: online identities

Jumpin'JackFrash is a combination of a few things.

One, my all time favorite rocker of theirs, Jumpin' Jack Flash.
Two, Frash is the name of the band I'm in, Ninja Frash 151 (don't worry, we're working on changing the name).

I'm also writing a musical based off of Beggars Banquet in which one of the characters is Jack Flash

I also like to think that I represent the character of that song - crucified, ressurected, and back to rock.

So I guess it's 50 me/ 50 the idea

That's why there should be an "IORR poster reference page" (Copyright by CindyC)

NICOs, you know I was only joking right! I'm not looking for credit, I'm just looking for an online poster reference page. I'm easy to please.

The problem with text is you don't hear the nuances as when you speak, but from now on I know.

Maybe we should step to in to a conferece call.

My name is my real first name and part of my last name. I dont write my entire last name becasue Im a afraid that if I post a message with my entire name, my head will explode. that seams perfectly logical, right?

Yeah, you should assume that from now on. When I'm mad, you'll know for sure, you won't have to wonder.

Ryan, your head will explode, so be careful. That happens a lot.
