StonesTod, I guess it's just you and I on the Little Willie song. NICOs has pretty good taste. Oh well, can't win em all.

Yeah, I'm back undercover. I don't know why, i just feel really uncomfortable when it shows I'm online. I guess I'm just weird like that.

Yeah, who sings that song? I never knew that.

Party was AWESOME! The place was so cool, everyone had a blast, and there were 5 people running the party so I didn't have to lift a finger, I could just have fun. Thanks for asking. Caligula was a big hit!

Cindy, I understand what you mean, sometimes I only want to check out some post and not want to react, but if everybody sees you online they probaly think "why doesn't Nico react"

On my block in Philly in 1964, there were only two bands that mattered before the Stones emerged--the Beatles and the Dave Clark 5. And of course, all the boys thought the Beatles were pansies. So by default I was a Dave Clark 5 fan.

And when my uncle came to me and asked if I wanted a ticket to see the Beatles at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City (seating capacity, f-ing 600!!!), of course I declined. A response I've regretted ever since...

Yeah, there's that, and a lot of times, I just leave myself logged on all day, and just keep the thing minimized, so it would look like i'm online, when I'm really not.

Man you will never get over that (did you pick up your live since then ?)

I had the same problem not going to the Stones concert in 1970 Amsterdam.

KISS I was a little kid who knew nothing about real music. My life changed when I was 8 yrs old. After ER I never looked back. The Stones became my all time favorite band and that has not changed since and never will. Long live the Stones !!

the late, great Chas Chandler, bassist for the original Animals who quit the gig to become Jimi's first manager/producer and then went on to manage Slade for a dozen years....

During my infant years, I grew up in a house full of records, with the Everly Brothers being my favourite out of everything else. I especially liked (and still do) their first two Warners albums. Then came the Beatles.

At the age of eight however, I came across the stones on Thank your Lucky Stars singing Not Fade Away and that was it. Hooked to this day.

You sure it wasn't "De Gleufdieren"?

I grew up the son of a high school coach in the late 60's-early 70's. I was exposed to a lot of teenage music of that era (good stuff!).

My mother worked at a country music radio station in South Georgia, so I was force fed the country of that time.

I grew up loving a lot of stuff before I got hooked on the Stones. Probably my favorites were Three Dog Night, CCR, Beatles, and later Elton (I've since recovered).

Let me guess, Elmo, your dad made you do push-ups when you listened to the B.. Beat.. well I can't say it.. and Elton?

I know man, you just had to be there for that Captain Fantastic buzz.

Elmo, I loved Elton back in the day. My vinyl album collection is a testament to my fondness. Captain Fantastic was the last album I bought, though, and I have long since sold it at a yard sale. But the others before it were masterpieces. I saw him in concert November 8, 1974. Great show.

We all loved Elton in 1970-74 or so.
Impressing you guys dared to reveal it!
