I think I must have misread. What does that first one say?
On the other hand it must have been the theme tune to Magic Roundabout. With Dougal the dog, Dylan the spaced out rabbit and Zebedee. Some weird thing on a spring. No wonder I got problems!

Just like me. I was a huge Jackson fan when I was round 14 and 15 years old. The only musician I was crazy about before the Stones changed my life. But I always thought he was weird...it was impossible to deny even back then. I loved History, Dangerous etc. Jackson used to be a genius. I don´t think Invicible is that good, it was a let down for me.

Yeah. He's a complete wacko.. but I don't really care. After all, I am too, you know? HIStory was a really good album. Invincible was a let down for me too at first, but now that I'm not as obsessed anymore.. I kind of like it. You put it on in the background and it has a really nice flow. He still sings as good as he did 30 years ago. I just put it on and let it play..
My favourite bands used to be Depeche Mode and INXS.
I've already seen Depeche Mode this year, they're still amazing! I hope to attend to one or two more concerts... Is anybody going to the Benicassim Festival (Spain) or to the Heineken Jammin Festival (Italy)?
Once I heard the Stones it was over almost instantly. It still amazes me how The Stone's music grabbed me, to all the family and friends that could not understand why it was all Stones, all the time (especially back then) all I could say was...
"I can't help it!" thinking why can't they help it?
I never really listened to any bands. I only really listened to the radio - so I knew a whole bunch of old songs, some of which were the Stones, but also a bunch of other great groups.
But yeah, collectively, I'd say the Stones was the first thing I probably ever listened to.
Metallica and Guns'N'Roses. I became this really huge Stones fan as late as 2002. In my defence I can tell you that I bought my first Stones album "Jump Back" in the mid-90's and now I'm definitely stuck on their music FOREVER.
The first time I listened to "Sympathy for the devil", it was performed by Guns'N'Roses, it was part of the soundtrack of "Interview with the vampire". By that time, I didn't even imagine it had anything to do with the Rolling Stones! ha ha ha
I was a big BENNY GOODMAN fan but stopped going to their shows around the time Jagger started wearing Jumpsuits with socks stuffed in his knickers......It was a kind of FADE IN/FADE OUT thing...

Years ago my best friend told me about this kid at his work who was really into Led Zeppelin. Now Led Zep were huge when we were in high school, but this kid was either in diapers or not even born when they were around.
My friend told the kid: "You like Led Zeppelin?? That's like ME lisening to BENNY GOODMAN!"
Since then whenever we talk about Led Zep, we always refer to them as "Benny Goodman."

Hey Rooster, I still like a few of their songs, Fox, and Little Willie. I had a 70's party a few years ago and put on Little Willie, and the dance floor got packed. It was great. Everyone pounding on the floor at "little willie willie won't, BOOM BOOM BOOM - Go Home.
