Sorry to have to disagree but I think Drift Away is done very well by the Mickster! I bet it would go over well live; I can see Bernard and Blondie and Lisa adding great back-up on this tune! Hey, they've done JUST MY IMAGINATION and it goes over well!

You're not disagreeing, it's only one person who don't like it. I have played Drift Away, first by RS, and then by Stewart on the stereo. Also with Big Bayou, first by Ronnie, and then by Stewart. I like some of Ros Stewarts songs from the 70s, he's really good sometimes. Neverthless, on these 2 songs, he comes to short.

Debra!!!!The big crowd will love it...and its a real deep soul tune at the same time..wish they bring it out it will succeed...have tha listen to it now.I might be wrong.
I also love Rod Stewart from the 70's! Gasoline Alley, Every Picture Tells A Story, Atlantic Crossing are awesome cds. Stewart has that ragged, soulful voice, totally unique, and I think his new cd of classics from the 70's will sell millions( due out next month).
Shame!!!when I was a child I used to cry when I heard Sailing...I love some Stewart stuff Still...You wear it welll....I dont wanna Talk ...He and Ronnie was drinking buddies!!
